About Rotary International
Rotary international headquarters are in Evanston IL.
The world has approximately 500 districts. The top person in each district is the District Governor who is elected for a one year term. The DG is responsible for the administration within the district and for the implementation of all district programs and projects. A district will consist of anywhere between 45 and 70 clubs.
About The Ramsey Rotary
Ramsey Rotary is part of District 5960
Membership is open to both men and women. A person must be sponsored by a club member to join. Rotary is organized on what is called a "classification basis". That is, there is one member representing each business or profession.
We began in 2004. Men and Women volunteer their time and resources to the missions and projects of Rotary International and those of the local club are invited for membership.
Our current membership consists of 33 businesses and organizations in the Ramsey area. Our club actively serves the community by generating funds to make Ramsey a better place to live and work.
Our club meets every Wednesday at noon at the Wells Catering meeting facility located just off Hwy 10 in Ramsey.
